Thousands of movie pictures for TVTower, and real film titles & names

TVTower 0.8.4 now supports specific program images.

I’ve put something together. Images for all movies, all TV shows, all scripts, all ads.

I’ve also updated the database to use real movie titles and names.

Click "Download Now" in the left(!) column.

Alternative download methods (for IT pros, requires tools like git):

If successful, you should already get a “real” news anchor and a “real” intro show in full color. That’s the new configuration. But mainly it’s about all the images - you’ll see them when the first commercials and movies appear.

Merge folders and overwrite files when requested (these are for the real film titles, and some configuration for the news broadcast image and the default start programme images).

Old save files? Images always work; the new/updated database only applies to new campaigns.

Is it safe? Yes, the mod consists only of text files and images. A static HTML page without JavaScript is also provided so you can view all images and perform a full-text search on the titles.

Is it SFW? Not always. Erotica is erotica, and horror is horror. Nothing excessive, but frivolities and (artificial) blood are definitely included. If you’re sensitive to that, you might want to browse through the aforementioned HTML page on an empty stomach first (use your browser’s zoom function if needed) and swap out images if necessary. (Titles and filenames are listed.)

Work in progress? You bet. Better images, prompts, suggestions, and ideas are always welcome!
